1976
Mr. Nirmal Gupta founded Pacific Garments in the year 1976 with five employees in a small office in Kolkata, India.
1977
Set up a unit at Kolkata office with 60 employees. State of the art machinery imported from Germany.
1980
Due to increasing demand by customers became one of biggest exporter to Japan
1985
Diversified the range of products to various women related products broadly focussing on apparel, accessories and makeups.
1989
The scope of the company's operations was widened and shifted the H.O to Delhi
1991
With the overwhelming demand, have identified and appointed manufacturing hubs at 6 different locations across India and expanded to unit 2
1993
Expanded to Unit 3
1995
Expanded to Unit 4
1997
Expanded to unit 5
1999
Expanded to Unit 6
2004
Acquired a large factory at Noida wherein all the units are merged together to get the best economy of scale thus creating a flourishing concern that stood well-positioned for consistent growth in the years ahead
2005
Shifted the base to Noida and purchased 100 numbers of machines to cater the growing demands.
2007
Entered into the Europe Market and increase the no. of machines to 300.
2008
This period wasn't easy for Pacific Garments as on April 22nd there was a major fire accident happened in the factory and everything went off. In this period, we learnt a lot, particularly how to offer quality under any circumstances. It was a time for looking forward and bounce back. We are extremely thankful to our customers who stood by us in the difficult time. In May 2008, shifted to a temporary office in Noida with 40 machineries and completed the service deadline on time.
2009
Shifted back to the office with 200 machineries
